Today I Jumped

Today I jumped. Punch and I decided to take the kids to the strawberry festival. We got up early this morning and started on our way. On the  freeway we decided to go to Denny's to grap a bite to eat. The kids loved  it ! Once we paid our fare we notice a family  Punch said " hey look no more strollers for us!" As he pointed to the family with 2 small babies.

Yikes has time flew by that fast? I remember how stress I would be and how I never really enjoy myself because I was constantly  worry about taking care of my kids. At the time  it was just Beverly and Frank. By time we had Emilio and Lauren we really didn't like to go anywhere for for this reason. So most of the  time  if it was fun my sister took the lead.

THANK GOD for sisters! 2 of  them would be with her and 2 would be at home.  But now that everyone is old enough to have fun we can do all kinds of activities and festivals. Anyway, while we were there there was a bungee jumping  guy there and I jokingly as if my husband punch wanted to have a go. He said yes so I said cool and we agreed. Saying and doing are to different things (eyebrow lift).

I went first and paid my 40 bucks then they helped me put the equipment on and up and up we went. I'll TELL YOU I was the most terrified I had been in all my life.  As I went up the ladder is when I truly saw how high I was and started to freak. What the hell was I doing ?WHY was I doing it ?and how can I get off without hurting myself? I think it took about 10 mins for me to jump, Honestly I don't think I would have done it had it not been for the man up there. He was so calm and helpful and with that I built my confidence and JUMP. It was soo freeing and scary at the same time. The most rewarding of this was showing my kids they can do anything they want if you push yourself and this making me realize if I can to do THIS there is nothing I can't do. When was the last time you give yourself the ok to do something that you always wanted to do but was afraid?

I was so happy to find that there were 6 BIG Strawberries almost ready to be picked. I give it another few days, before they are fully ripe but they were so nice I had to record it. take a look!

Also Frankie was should a gentleman this morning and told me I was “awesome” now being that my son is the no affection guy “ I’m to cool to hug mom dude”  I gladly took him calling me “awesome” in a song.  Oh and the kids didn’t argue once in the car Some one please  Pinch me! Smile

Good Morning! This morning is to say the least Eventful.. I haven’t wrote in this blog in over a year. And in my absents we have Move into our  new home and have  Had our 4th child. Our home is a nice size house with 4 bedrooms and 2 bathroom, But for 20014 I want to do some changes for our home I didn’t really like the color  that they paint the home but I use thing they want to appeal to everyone  but it’s mean now and I can wait to paint my wall and bead board everything. I Love Coastal Cottage home that that is the style I am going after.  I want my home to be stylish yet confortable. I want my family to be able to LIVE in the home and now be afraid to sit down and worry if they had mess things up. I don’t want a stuff home. We do you think  about using these colors?

First day of fall

Today is the first day of Fall and I  have to say I am pleased. For the last couple of weeks here in California it has been a real Heatwave . Heck punch and I decided to buy an air conditioner at the last moment ( we thought we could handle the heat with just the windows being open HA!). But now it is all over! This is our first year in our new home and I can't wait to decorate my front porch. I have started a little bit but it's no where near done. I love the way pottery barn made this front door look so comfortable. Can't you just see yourself walking in with a cup of hot coffee or tea? :)
And this door it just so charming. I remember when i was young everyone would say  I would live in the south and you know? I think they are right! I love the homey style and the seasons. However my honey would never leave. Maybe we will visit one day.!

Good Moring sugarplums! This morning I have a host of things to do. Starting with cleaning my house, caring for my sister’s dog “ Hope”, and send some packages to Virginia. Oh, and I have decided to write more often in my blog. It is really hard to remember to write but with my to do list it helps.I really love it.I find I get things done on time and it keeps me on track. As a youth I laughed at ladies with “to do lists” now I am one.LOL

Thursday Quick List

Have you finish your Spring Cleaning?  I’m on the late freight so I have some more work to do.

  • Wash outside and inside windows.
  • Mop laminate floors in the living room and hallway.
  • Dust trims and moldings in the living room, Bedrooms, and Kitchen.
  • Fold  Linen and put them way.
  • Shine Kitchen sink & Refrigerator.
  • Buy Cut Flowers to plant online.
  • Pull weeds in Garden.
  • Stop by Lowes or Home Depot.

Have you ever wanted to have Fresh cut flower all through your home? I do. Every time I look in a magazine notice the details that they put in the rooms and they almost always have flowers, however the cost of fresh cuts are just so expensive. So I decided on planting me a Cut flower Garden within my Veggie Garden. Here are some that I plan on buying. ( Rabbit tail, Foxgloves, Pacific Giant Larkspur)
